NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS RATES DISCOUNT Ratepayers are advised that Rate Notices for the 4th quarter ending June 30, 2013, were issued on May 20, 2013 for the Central Highlands Region. The last date for discount is:- Wednesday, June 19, 2013 This notice also includes water charges for the period October 1 2012 - March 31 2013. Notices have been issued to the last advised address on Council records. It is the responsibility of the owner to advise Council of any change of address in writing. If any owner has not received their Rates Notice they should contact any of our Customer Service Centres in person, or by phone on 1300 242 686. Payment is required within the specified discount period, namely close of business on Wednesday June 19, 2013. BANANA SHIRE COUNCIL Callide Street Road Works As part of Council's ongoing Construction Program, Council will be undertaking significant repairs to Callide Street between Washpool and Dee Streets. Construction works are currently scheduled to commence on Monday 20 May 2013 with the expectation to be completed in a six (6) month period. These works have been broken into four (4) stages, with stage one (1) beginning at Washpool Street, progressing towards stage four (4) to complete the project at Dee Street. Minimal traffic control methods will be in place, however change of speed restriction will be applied throughout. Council asks that these signs are obeyed for the safety of yourself and other road users.
