THIS multi-cultural beauty is about to take her stunning good looks – and brains – to a worldwide level.

Gracemere’s Stephanie Kutty was yesterday crowned Miss University Australia.

In March she will be off to China for two weeks to compete against 40 other contestants from worldwide.

It’s going to be a busy year for the 19-year-old as the day she lands back home in Australia is the day she will sit for her Graduate Australian Medical School admission test.

Stephanie, who claims Fijian, Indian, Chinese and Burmese heritage, hopes to get into medical school to become a sports doctor or pediatrician.

She is now completing a biomedical science degree at the University of Sunshine Coast.

A former Cathedral College student and house captain, Stephanie said she had started modelling last year.

Since then she has been signed with Sunshine Coast-based modelling agency Serena’s Image, been in numerous fashion parades and is due to compete in the Townsville Fashion Bash Young Model Challenge.

“I really enjoy photographic modelling, as well as glamour and high fashion,” she said.

“I hope it (Miss University) gains me more experience and more modelling jobs.”

Stephanie won the Miss University Australia competition after entering online only two weeks ago.

She said the voting was done online through a photograph she submitted.

Yesterday’s announcement not only stunned Stephanie, but has made her entire family, especially her father, extremely proud of her achievements.

Stephanie is in Rockhampton for the uni break, but will head back to the Sunshine Coast in two weeks.
