A privately-owned coal exploration company is seeking an experienced Field Support Coordinator. This role is based in Central Queensland, with travel between all Vitrinite sites required, including; Clermont, Dysart, Moranbah, Collinsville, Emerald, Moura, and Rolleston. About the Role: The position is responsible for a range of tasks, your responsibilities will include; - Liaising with landowners and Native Title Groups; - Slashing and clearing of access tracks and drill pads; -Sourcing gravel and piping etc. for creek crossings; - Coordinating of other contractors as required; - Fixing fences; - Cultural Heritage clearance assistance; - Environmental support and monitoring of ground water, surface water, cameras etc.; - Inspecting virgin sites for access; - Disposing of grey water (if required); - Assisting Geologist for core holes, wrapping samples, boxing coring etc.; - Dispatching samples; and - Any other tasks as required. About You: You will possess the following key skills, certificates and attributes; - Sound knowledge of GPS; - Slasher, Backhoe, Grader and Dozer tickets; - Heavy Vehicle License; - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a small team environment; - High attention to detail; - A positive attitude and flexibility towards undertaking a changing variety of tasks; - Professional, proactive approach to work with the ability to think on your feet. The ideal candidate will have held a similar role.
