Team Leader - Men's Behaviour Change Programs

In this full-time position until December 2021, based in our Mount Isa office, you will inspire a dedicated team of men’s healing and wellbeing workers to accomplish ambitious goals for the Men’s Behaviour Change program and the Walking with Dads program. These teams are working on the front lines of domestic disputes as a first response, aiming to change community attitudes and men’s use of violence against women and children in the Gulf communities. Financial assistance with relocation to Mount Isa is available if needed.


You will make an impact by:

  • Leading, developing and motivating the teams
  • Supporting the implementation and monitoring of the programs
  • Building relationships with the local community
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders


The role requires:

  • Experience working in domestic and family violence and culturally informed approaches when working with men
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate activities in Men’s behaviour change programs
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Current valid driver’s licence
