18 passengers involved in Sunbus crash at Castaways Beach

A BUS believed to be transporting 18 passengers has collided with a car near Castaways Beach this afternoon.

A police spokesman said the incident happened about 1.38pm on David Low Way.

He said no injuries were reported at this stage but it was believed no one has been hurt in the crash.

The bus driver and 18 passengers of the bus were reported to have escaped without injury.

It's believed the driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Delays were likely as emergency crews worked to clear the crash, the bus has been towed from the scene.
