62-year-old male dead after housefire in Burpengary

POLICE are at the scene of a fatal house fire at Burpengary this morning.

Around 2.40am officers were called to the Bruce Highway Eastern Services Road address and upon arrival discovered the body of the 62-year-old male occupant inside the residence.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.

There is no further information available at this time.
