CLARE Quinn is a talented Gympie lass who writes folk flavoured songs with wisdom far beyond her 16 years.

Her unique vocals combined with guitar, keyboards and harmonica are sure to rejuvenate your hearts and minds.

She has won various local talent searches including; the junior section of Gympie's Got Talent, the Live It and King of The Mountain talent searches and in 2009 was selected to perform in part of a state wide celebration of Queensland's 150th birthday. She has also scored a gig at this year's Caloundra Music Festival from October 8-10. “Music has always been my passion,” she said.

“I have grown up singing in choirs, school productions and musicals including Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat and recently Westside Story and at local performances in Gympie, including singing at concerts, parties, functions and blackboard performances.”

As well as singing, she plays keyboard and guitar and more recently a bit of ukulele and harmonica.

“My songwriting journey began a couple of years ago and I find myself constantly finding new song ideas and jotting down lyrics.
