A part of the Bruce Hwy is blocked due to crash

UPDATE 3pm: One of the northbound lanes of the Bruce Hwy was closed this afternoon after a crash in the Bruce Hwy close to the intersection of the Peak Downs Hwy.

One vehicle was significantly damaged and could not be removed from the road.

Two QFES crews were called after reports of a hazardous spill, but there was no danger to the community.

Paramedic were assess some of the people involved in the three-car crash.

INITIAL: Emergency services are responding to the city gates following reports of a traffic crash.

Initial information suggest three vehicles have collided at the intersection of Broadsound Rd and Peak Downs Hwy at Ooralea.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance and Queensland Police are on scene.
