Police believe the collision occurred some time between 2.30pm and 3.25pm on April 25.

His wife Sandy Vigar was following in a support car on the day and described the section of road here the collision occurred as flat and wide.

Dr Pearson lived in Lowood and was an associate professor of veterinary anaesthesia at the University of Queensland Gatton Campus.

Police yesterday refused to comment on the seizure, saying there was a lot of work to be done on the case.
