A sign from God? A ray of sunshine for 'Sam'

IF YOU drove down Elliot Heads Rd at the weekend, you might have come across an unusual message on the Citicoast Church sign.

"Jesus loves Sam," it said.

Who is Sam?

It turns out the message was a kind gesture to inspire a young Bundaberg boy to dream big.

"Sam Webster is a young boy who helped me change the sign last week," Citicoast Church pastoral care co-ordinator Warren Stark said.

"Sam is home-schooled and his parents, John and Bernie, volunteer at our Global Care food warehouse as our shed co-ordinators. Sam also helps out as well.

"He was on a break and I asked him to help me - and I put his name on the sign to let him know that he is more important than he realises."
