Allegations employee stole $30,000 from IGA

A YAMANTO man has appeared in court over claims he stole large sums of money from his employer.

Joshua Daniel Condon, 21, was charged on December 20, 2015 with stealing a servant.

The alleged offences took place between January 18 and December 19, 2015 at IGA Winston Glades.

Ipswich Magistrates Court heard on Wednesday the initial charge had been upgraded as it involved more than $30,000.

The matter was relisted for mention on April 6.

Mr Condon remains free on bail.
