FEW people would dare to wear underwear which cost more than $100 (even that's a stretch) but Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel looked completely at ease as she strutted down the catwalk in this year's $10million Fantasy Bra.

Swanepoel led the 40-model pack in the first performance of the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Fellow "Angels" (that's the name given to a model from Victoria's Secret) Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima followed soon after as well as Aussie model Jessica Hart and British babes Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.

The lingerie modelled in the show wasn't exactly what you would expect with the angels donning outfits from six themes - British Invasion, Birds of Paradise, Parisian Nights, Shipwrecked, Snow Angels and PINK Network.

Some of the weirdest outfits featured fluoro colours, sparkles, balloons and for some strange reason emojis.

Some also lacked the traditional angel wings.

It certainly was something you'd only expect to see on a runway and not actually wear in real life.

Singer Taylor Swift performed during the show, making two appearances on stage.

She sang with Fall Out Boy and then returned to perform I Knew You Were Trouble in a shimmery mini dress.

She gave the models a bit of competition in her London-inspired outfit and the angel's couldn't resist rocking out with her.

Bands Neon Jungle, Fall Out Boy and A Great Big World also performed on stage during the show.

The 18th annual show took place at the Lexington Avenue Armory in Manhattan on November 13.

It was streamed in America earlier this month on December 10.
