Bad timing? ABC plays Queen classic before spill conference

COULD this be an omen or just really bad timing?

The ABC's regular music show was counting down the favourite songs of 1981, according to a poll by listeners.

Kelly Higgins-Devine told listeners that they were waiting to cross to Tony Abbott to discuss the leadership spill.

In the meantime, they continued the countdown and played Another One Bites The Dust, before crossing to the Prime Minister.

The ABC made it very clear that the song choice was not intentional, and that the song had been selected by the public hours earlier as part of their regular Friday program.

But no doubt, the political pundits might make more of it than the broadcaster did.

What would be the song you would use to describe Tony Abbott?
