ANTHONY Callea wants viewers to get behind Brendan Fevola for Sunday's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! grand final.
The singer says the former footballer deserves to win the reality show's title and $100,000 grand prize for charity.
"I hope Australia gets behind Fev because he deserves to win," Callea told APN.
"I think he's got a great chance. He's definitely been himself from day one and I feel as though that is what you want o see in someone. He's been the most genuine, the most honest."
Callea, 33, spoke of the close, brother-like bond he formed with Fevola during their six weeks together in the South African jungle.
"Fev reminds me a bit of my brother. He's a ratbag; he's a prankster; he's a lovable guy," he said.
"He is so genuine and he wears his heat on his sleeve. He loves his partner and his kids; he surprised me a lot.
"That whole experience, especially the last couple of weeks, would have been a lot harder without him there. Both Fev and Shane (Warne) were two people who we needed in camp. They somewhat kept it together.
Callea, 33, narrowly missed out on Sunday's grand final after being eliminated last night.
His exit leaves "The Chief" Paul Harragon, Fevola and former Bachelor contestant Laurina Fleure to battle it out in Sunday's finale.
"I definitely am not surprised she made the final three," he said.
"The feeling is quite similar with many people who went through this whole experience that she went in there obviously wanting to stir the pot and certainly did that, and obviously the Australian public loved watching it."
After six weeks of hunger, sleep deprivation and isolation, Callea isn't wasting any time getting back on to the stage.
"The day after I fly back to Australia I have my first gig on the Gold Coast," he said.
"Once I get there and do sound check and see my band, the adrenaline is going to kick it and we're just going to have a lot of fun. The one thing I've totally missed is singing... I can't wait to hit the stage."
The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! grand finals airs on Sunday at 6.30pm on Channel 10.
