Juveniles spoken to by police after incident

UPDATE 4.15pm: TWO teenagers, who were involved in an altercation on Musgrave St Monday night, have been spoken to by police.

A police media spokesperson told The Morning Bulletin that the teens, aged 12 and 13, were in an altercation around 11pm and there was a mention of one of them having a knife.

It's believed the incident occurred around the McDonald's near Stockland Shopping Centre.

The spokesperson said the knife was not necessarily used in any incident and said no arrests had been made.

6.50am: REPORTS are circulating on social media about armed assailants at McDonalds next to Stockland Rockhampton.

The reports indicate the juveniles took off from the area about 10.30pm last night.

One juvenile was armed with a knife about 10-15cm long and an accomplice took off on a skateboard.

The reports indicate the youths took off along Moores Creek Rd.

At least two of the three offenders were apprehended by police, according to the reports posted on Facebook last night.

The Bulletin is seeking clarification from the police on the incident.
