Author turns experience as police officer into sexy stories

LOCAL author T. J. Hamilton will talk about how she has turned her experiences as a Sydney police officer into sexy stories of mystery and intrigue on Friday, May 30.

She'll be launching her latest novel Keeping Thyme at the Hervey Bay Library at 10am.

"This book has been the toughest challenge out of all my novels," Ms Hamilton said.

"Having two books from the trilogy already make the bestsellers lists really puts pressure on you as an author to get it right, so I hope I have done the story justice.

"Now I can't wait to share it with my readers.

"The Hervey Bay Library is the perfect place to celebrate its release, share my journey with others and meet some of my local readers.

"The library, for obvious reasons, is one of my favourite places to be and my children love coming to visit.

"Stories have a big place in our family."

The highly-anticipated third book follows Making Thyme and Buying Thyme which are available in paperback and eBook format.

The event is free of charge but bookings are essential and can be made by phoning the library on 4197 4220.
