Man to front court after house burns down at Beachmere

UPDATE SUNDAY 5.34AM: Detectives have charged a man following investigations in relation to a house fire at Beachmere yesterday.

Police and emergency services attended the fire in Beachmere Road at about 5.30am yesterday. The fire totally destroyed the house however no one was injured in the fire.

A 34-year-old Beachmere man has been charged with one count of arson and is due to appear at the Caboolture Magistrates Court on March 24.

SATURDAY: POLICE are investigating a house fire in Beachmere this morning.

Around 5.50am police attended a Beachmere Road address after reports of a house on fire.

The house was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured during the incident.

The building sustained extensive damage and a crime scene was established.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing.
