Bears rolled by charging Bulls

CLERMONT Bears couldn’t contain the unbeaten prowess of Dysart Bulls at the weekend and were thumped 64-4 in Dysart.

With the Bob Baird Shield now safely in the hands of the Bulls, a reconciled Clermont coach, Rob Williams, said they were never really in the game.

“We’re struggling at the moment, we need commitment,” Williams said. “We were down to 13 men only a few minutes into the game.

“Dysart played extremely well. They just kept coming at us the whole night.

“But we stuck to it - one of our front-rowers played for a full 80 minutes and those who were there, I cannot praise enough.”
