Treading a careful campaign trail with Annastacia

WHEN Annastacia Palaszczuk is on camera and the journalists are firing tough questions in an almost accusatory tone, you can notice her hand has the slightest nervous shake.

But Ms Palaszczuk is a confident woman who smiles to everyone she meets and is constantly telling people "Don't forget to vote on Saturday!"

To those who seem intimidated by all the cameras following her every move, she'll say 'Oh, you'll notice I brought some of my friends with me'.

She gives the impression she can think quickly off the top of her head if needed.

You'll hardly ever see her practising speeches in front of media.

But her campaign team are always thinking about how she appears to the public and in front of cameras.

Going for a walk in Mackay one morning this week, Ms Palaszczuk and her team strategically crossed the road to avoid being photographed walking past a strip club.

Her team also was on the ball when she stood next to Federal Labor MP Wayne Swan in front of cameras at a Brisbane rally. He happened to be holding a folded-up newspaper showing an LNP advertisement. It was quickly snatched from his hands.
