SOME of the most well-respected and biggest names in the music industry participated in the successful Music Industry Forum in the Outback venue at the Optus Music Muster on Saturday.
The panel of John Bromell, Greg Shaw, Roger Faynes, Vanessa Lea, Emma Barlow, Rob Brock and Charlie Mc Neil were all very helpful in sharing their wealth of experience and knowledge in the music industry to an appreciative crowd.
The music industry panel discussed everything from recording, laws, internet music,valuable contacts, how to get the advantage in this fierce competitive industry through to how Keith Urban made and maintained success in the USA.
The audience was filled with well- known local and interstate recording artists through to amateur singer/songwriters who were impressed to have had the opportunity to speak one on one with these music industry greats and receive valuable advice on their next step in their own personal musical journey.
The participants were impressed to find such a unique forum available to all entertainers that caters to the often forgotton regional areas .
The entertainers also had the opportunity to hand out their latest albums to the panel for further assistance and feedback with all of them walking away feeling very confident armed with the knowledge ready to tackle the huge world of the music industry
