THIRD time's a treat ... or rather Sublime for Bluesfest.

The third line-up announcement for next year's Easter weekend festival includes Californian ska-punk rockers Sublime With Rome.

Rome Ramirez replaces frontman Bradley Nowell, who died in 1996 shortly after the band broke up.

The re-named Sublime With Rome have been on the road since 2009 and released their "debut" record in July.

Despite the name change, the band will play songs from every album, including tracks from their third and most popular album (self-titled, 1996).

Drummer Bud Gaugh recently announced he is taking time off from the band and will be replaced by Josh Freese (Devo, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails).

Frank Zappa's son Dweezil returns to the Bluesfest stage at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm with his show Zappa Plays Zappa after an impressive performance two years ago.

American folk band Dawes head to Australia fresh from their performance at Occupy Wall Street in Liberty Park, Utah.

And James Vincent McMorrow, Josh Pyke, Blue King Brown, Eilen Jewell, 1814, Busby Marou and Melbourne Ska Orchestra round out the third announcement.
