Body of man found at Terania Creek

A 45-year-old Nimbin man has been found dead at Terania Creek near Protestors Falls.

At 11.30am yesterday, police were called to an abandoned vehicle near a causeway.

A search commenced, and the man was located downstream deceased.

Richmond LAC police Inspector Nicole Bruce said a search involving police and the SES will be coordinated in the area today.

She said the circumstances surrounding the man's death are unclear, however early indications are that he may have drowned.
