Boy pleads guilty to raping two girls in Central Highlands

A JUVENILE has pleaded guilty to raping two girls in Central Queensland.

The boy appeared in the Children's Court of Queensland in Mackay via video link from a youth detention centre yesterday to answer to the charges.

He pleaded guilty to five counts of rape that occurred in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Four counts of rape were against one girl and occurred between February 29 and April 1 in 2012, April 30 and June 1 in 2013, October 31 and December 1 in 2013 and January 31 in 2014.

One count of rape was against another girl between August 31 and October 1 in 2013.

All counts of rape occurred in the Central Highlands.

The matter was adjourned for sentence to later this year to allow time for various reports to be prepared.
