GWS HAS been dealt a major blow ahead of its knockout semi-final against West Coast with Jeremy Cameron ruled out for the rest of the season.

Cameron injured his hamstring in the loss to Adelaide on Thursday night.

The Giants confirmed the news in a statement.

"Forward Jeremy Cameron has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury,” the statement reads.

"Cameron tore his left hamstring in the second quarter of the loss to the Crows last week, sitting on the sidelines for the second half of the match.

"Cameron had trouble with his opposite hamstring late in the season, restricting him to 19 games for 2017. He kicked 45 goals.”
