Brisbane's north placed on measles alert

BRISBANE north residents are being urged to familiarise themselves with the symptoms of measles, after a man in his 40s was diagnosed with the condition.

Metro North Public Health Unit said the Chermside man visited a number of locations while infectious.

Public health physician Mekala Srirajalingam said anyone who had visited the below locations and who developed symptoms in the next three weeks should stay home and contact their GP for advice.
