BRISBANE Broncos prop Josh McGuire is happy to see that former teammate Jarrod Wallace has settled in well with the Gold Coast Titans but does not want to see that much of him on Friday night.

Wallace has been one of the top performers for the Titans this season after leaving the Broncos in search of regular first-team action.

McGuire was one of those standing in Wallace's way, so he knew the forward had what it took to succeed if given a chance.

The prop just does not want Wallace to show that form when the two sides go head to head at Suncorp Stadium.

"Hopefully not too much," McGuire joked when asked if he wanted to see his old teammate.

"He has been playing some great footy and I am really happy for Jarrod.

"He headed down there for an opportunity and I think he has been one of their standouts this year.

"He has been playing really consistently and at a high level."

The Titans will be desperate for victory over the Broncos after losing three games on the trot.

McGuire said the Broncos should not be thinking Friday's game will be easy, even after last week's impressive win over the Roosters.

"It is hard winning every week in the NRL and every week you play some tough team," he said.

"We know the Gold Coast are a real quality outfit.

"They will be burning after a couple of losses so will want to come up here and play some good footy.

"A team with the talent of the Gold Coast, you can't count them out."
