Bull-rider trambled at rodeo

A BULL-RIDER was seriously injured after a bull trampled him during the Quamby Rodeo near Cloncurry on Saturday.

Sky News reported the 23-year-old Mount Isa was thrown and stomped on by a bull while competing at the annual rodeo.

It is understood a RACQ North Queensland rescue helicopter flew him to the Mount Isa Base Hospital where he was in a stable condition with internal injuries and injuries to his groin and right arm on Sunday.

Earlier that day, another bull rider in his 20s had to be flown to hospital after being badly thrown.
