Muster offering campsite contest

DO you think your Muster campsite is bigger and better than everyone elses?

Or is it more environmentally friendly or has the most Bundy Rum memorabilia?

Well you need to enter one or all of three campsite competitions at this year’s Optus Muster.

The Muster legend has grown on the back of the resourceful campers who head to Amamoor Creek State Forest Park for the last weekend in August.

Each year Muster campsites get bigger, better and funnier.

This year the Muster organisers have the Muster Campsite competition, the Bundaberg Rum campsite competition and the Queensland Government Five Star Camping competition.

All have heaps of great prizes including eskies, swags, camp cooking sets and heaps of Bundy Rum and Muster merchandise.

The Muster campsite competition can be entered at the Info Booth and judges are looking for the site that best captures the Muster spirit.

The Bundy Rum competition is looking for the campsite that can “Bundy up” their campsite. Campers can enter their campsite at the Bundy Backyard near the Crowbar.

The Queensland Government DERM competition is after the most environmentally friendly campsite and is looking for campers who recycle rubbish, don’t damage plants, cook on energy efficient stoves, keep campfires small and secure food from wildlife.

To enter campers need to go to the Info Booth.
