MUCH like his opponent this week, Premier Campbell Newman had an embarrassing moment during a radio quiz when he was caught out not knowing how to spell Annastacia Palaszczuk's surname.
Mr Newman took part in a quiz yesterday on radio station 97.3 where he had to answer 10 questions in 60 seconds to win money for a caller.
He achieved the same result as Ms Palaszczuk earlier this week - answering six correct questions to win $300 for the caller, but when asked to spell 'Palaszczuk' he asked to pass.
On Thursday Ms Palaszczuk asked to pass when she was asked what the GST rate was.
After one of the radio show hosts, Terry Hansen, started laughing in the background when Mr Newman passed, the Premier added, "I always put 'AP', I'm sorry Annastacia."
After the quiz ended he was asked to spell it.
"P-A-L-A-Z-A... I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude, I just can't..."
He did shock the radio hosts when he answered the question on who the main female character was in Fifty Shades of Grey.
