Police investigate horror Warrego crash that killed woman
UPDATE: The Warrego Highway at Hatton Vale remains heavily congested following a fatal traffic crash which occurred earlier today.
About 8am, police were called to the scene of a three-vehicle crash.
A 64-year-old woman and sole occupant of one of the vehicles died at the scene.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit will investigate the cause of the crash.

10.30AM: One person has been killed in a traffic crash at Hatton Vale on the Warrego Hwy.
The crash occurred about 8am near Rustys Oz Fuel service station.
Initial reports were that a car has been crushed between two trucks.
The crash happened at roadworks that have reduced the highway to two lanes for several months.
It appears a truck crashed into a vehicle at the Summerholm Rd junction though the involvement of a third vehicle remain unclear at this time.
The crash caused chaos in the peak hour highway traffic with vehicles backed up for kilometres in both directions.
The highway is completely blocked and diversions for eastbound traffic have been set up via Niemeyer Rd.
No further information is available at this time.
9AM: A car has collided with two trucks east of Toowoomba on the Warrego Hwy.
The crash was reported about 8am near Rustys Oz Fuel service station at Hatton Vale.
Initial reports were that the car has been crushed between two trucks.
The westbound lanes of the Warrego Hwy are currently closed.
