MP's daughter, son-in-law hurt in crash
UPDATE 12.45pm: FEDERAL Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry has posted thanks to emergency services for looking after family members involved in a car crash this morning.
"This campaigning is tough business my daughter Jessica Price and son-in-law Tim Price have just been t-boned at a roundabout. Tim has a broken arm and Jessica is been X-rayed for cracked ribs. Thank you to the wonderful assistance from our emergency services," Ms Landry posted on Facebook.
UPDATE 12.30PM: THE MORNING Bulletin understands the daughter of Federal Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry has been transported to hospital following the accident.
7 News Central Queensland tweeted Ms Landry's daughter and son-in-law were involved and both suffered injuries.
UPDATE 12PM: A WOMAN has been transported to hospital following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North and Murray Sts in south Rockhampton.
Federal Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry and her partner were at the scene of the crash, comforting the injured woman who was wearing a Vote for Landry shirt and is believed to be apart of Ms Landry's campaign team.
It is unclear at this stage whether Ms Landry was involved in the crash.
Fire crews remain at the crash site, ensuring the scene is safe and debris is cleared from the road.
Police also remain at the scene, taking statements from those involved.
EARLIER: A CAR is stuck on a roundabout after a two vehicle crash in south Rockhampton.
Emergency services are responding to the accident which occurred on the corner of Murray and North Streets.
Reports indicate there are two people requiring assistance from the Queensland Ambulance Service - one with a wrist injury and one with asthma.
