Carl's got country undertones

SUNSHINE Coast singer-songwriter Carl Wockner had just come off stage at the Blues Tent and was grabbing some lunch with his parents when we caught up with him on Thursday.

A qualified teacher, Carl started performing during his university days and, as they say, the rest is history.

The Muster virgin took some time out from his sandwich to chat to the Gympie Times about growing up musical and his upcoming EP and album. Hear what he had to say in the video above.

If you missed him on Thursday, you can catch Carl live in the Blues Test at 2pm on Saturday.
