Carrie’s spectacular response to radio stunt

CARRIE Bickmore has been reduced to crying hysterics after a radio stunt orchestrated by her radio co-host Tommy Little.

The Hit Network star was surprised with a belated birthday party in her home yesterday - which included an appearance by her favourite singer, Sam Smith.

"We've got you a present," Little told Bickmore, before guiding her toward the Too Good At Goodbye hitmaker's hiding spot.

After realising who was there, she began screaming and hyperventilating, before running into the laundry to try and collect herself.

When Bickmore finally emerged to greet her guest, she told him: "Oh my God, you're in my house," while going in for an emotional hug.

"Now what happens? Do I have to talk to you? I'm not going to be able to talk," she wailed.

Smith attempted to soothe the hysterical host, telling her: "Aww, that's the best reaction ever."

Later, Bickmore sat down with the British singer for an interview and got a little more information than she bargained for.

"Tell me something you haven't told anybody - that only I get to know in my house," she asked him.

"Oh my God, I have to tell you something, it was quite bad," Smith warned her, before launching into a graphic story about his New Year's celebration at a bar in Sydney.

"My manager came to see us, we were all very drunk ... I went to do a shot of tequila and I puked in my hand, at the bar ... actually puked in my hand and ran out," he said.

"No one saw but they must have smelt it."
