COFFS Harbour's Cassie Scully is trusting her intensive preparation schedule will lift her to great things at the World Sport Aerobic championships, starting today.

This year's event, at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, will be the 26-year-old's fifth attempt at a world title, with a fourth placing her best result so far.

She will head a team she has coached and trained locally at Cass Sport Aerobic Club.

"My training for this couldn't be better," she said.

"In every aspect of training I haven't put one foot out of place."

Helping her compete will be an army of supporters heading to Queensland from all over the country.

"I want to do it for them and for those who have been behind me all along," she said.
