Child sex charges laid for man arrested in Roma

A MAN accused of 20 child sex offences has been granted bail, with strict conditions, by the Roma Magistrate's Court.

The charges include possessing child exploitation material, making child exploitation material, indecent treatment of a child aged under 16 and entering a premise with intent to commit a crime.

The 28-year-old was nabbed in a joint effort between Roma Police and an external agency.

Roma Police told the Western Star the accused was from the Sunshine Coast and none of the alleged offences occurred in Roma.

He will face court next on September 22.
