Woman and children pulled from car in creek near Biloela

10am: A WOMAN and three children have been taken to Biloela Hospital as a precaution after making it safely out of a car which was washed off Coreen Water Board Rd in the Orange Creek area north-west of Biloela. 

8.35am: EMERGENCY services are responding to calls for help after a woman and a number of children were trapped in a vehicle washed down a creek, northwest of Biloela.

It is believed there were three children in the car with the woman at one point, but there could have been a fourth child already on the bank.

Reports indicate the vehicle was washed 20 metres down the creek.

Reports indicate the three children and woman have now reached the banks of the creek safely.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services say the incident is at Orange Creek, northwest of Biloela.

RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue were on standby to assist.
