THE Clermont community now has a children’s decor shop that offers everything you could want for your child’s room.
Products range from lighting, bedding, walls, floors and much more and the store also caters for newborns to 10-years-olds.
Little Jewels Decor will make your child’s room that little extra special to them.
Clermont local Julie Fish opened the doors of her new shop last Friday allowing the community to browse her beautiful products on offer.
Julie has three children of her own and loves creating enjoyable spaces for them to grow up in.
“I would spend hours on the internet at night searching for that right pillow and although I enjoy it, I know a lot of people simply don’t or just don’t have the time,” Julie said.
So after being a thought of Julie’s for about five years, she decided it was time to open a children’s decor shop where she would have catalogues available and hold shop parties - where everything you would search for is right there at your convenience.
“I wasn’t sure that Clermont could fully support a children’s shop, so I came up with the idea of creating and making my own catalogues so that I could cater to everyone’s taste,” Julie said.
With the benefit of beautiful catalogues to peruse, it allows people to order what they want and gives Julie the opportunity to travel to parties around the Highlands, expanding her clientele for those who can’t make it to her shop in Clermont.
Julie holds shop parties, where children have the space to play and mums can enjoy a cup of coffee while browsing the Little Jewels Decor catalogue.
The Little Jewels Decor shop hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays 10am – 4pm and Saturday Mornings 10am – noon.
Julie can also open by appointment anytime and can be contacted on 0437 633 871 or email@example.com.
GET your pavilion entries ready – it’s show time again.
The pavilion schedule for the 2011 Clermont Show is now available and everyone around the district is encouraged to grab a copy and start organising their entries.
The local show is a great opportunity for individuals and groups within the community to showcase their talents and skills, with classes open in home produce, cooking, horticulture, floral art, school work, photography, handicrafts, scrap booking, needlework, fine arts, jewellery and venerables.
With hundreds of entries
received last year, the show grounds pavilion was transformed into a bright and spectacular display.
We are hoping that 2011 will be even bigger.
Closing dates for each division vary, so please take note of closing times as late entries will not be accepted.
The pavilion schedule is available on the Clermont Show website www.clermontshow.com.
