UPDATE 10.15AM: A man has been airlifted to hospital after crashing his motorbike in bushland on the Sunshine Coast.
Paramedics were called to the forestry at Beerburrum at 7.30am.
A man, aged in his 40s, suffered a fractured leg.
Due to the inaccessible terrain, it took paramedics more than two hours to winch the man into the rescue helicopter.
The man was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
UPDATE 9.15AM: Paramedics have winched down an on-flight ambulance officer from the rescue helicopter to help a man injured in forestry on the Sunshine Coast.
Paramedics are now assessing the injured man, who suffered a leg injury after coming off his motorbike in the forestry at Beerburrum.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said it was likely that the man will be winched into the hovering rescue chopper and transported to hospital.
The man is in a stable condition.

UPDATE 8AM: A rescue helicopter is trying to retrieve a man from forestry on the Sunshine Coast.
Paramedics were called to Beerburrum forestry just before 7.30am after a man, 47, came off his motorbike in the bushland.
The man is believed to have a fractured leg.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman was unable to confirm if the helicopter would land or if the patient will be winched out of the forestry.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman confirmed that a chopper has been tasked and is currently en route to Beerburrum.
