YOUTH projects across Springsure just took a turn in the right direction, with the local Lions Club on the receiving end of a new Mitsubishi Pajero.
Sojitz Minerva Mine recently handed over the keys to the new seven-seater to Lions Club president John Noffke - the gesture demonstrating their "commitment to the Springsure community and surrounds".
"A key benefit of running a sustainable business in these times is the privilege and opportunity it provides to support the communities in which we live" said Sojitz Minerva general manager Chris Coombes.
The club will use the vehicle to assist and promote youth projects within the district.
It will be available for group activities including Lions extension, Springsure Leo's Club, The Springsure Christian Family Church Youth Group and other youth activities.
The Springsure Lions Club thanks Minerva Mine, Outback Tyres, Webb Tree Trimming & Removal and Noffkes Rural Real Estate & Livestock.
