Commanding win for Middlemount

MIDDLEMOUNT Panthers ran rings around Emerald Cowboys at the weekend, defeating the home side 50-14.

Panthers ran in seven tries over the 80 minutes, dominating the game early and finishing just as solidly.

Trent Watts is finding form at the right end of the season, scoring a double. Ryan Hansell, Drew Whittaker and young fullback Chris Dyson also pegged four to the scoreboard for the Panthers. Danny Ryan, Matthew Goddard and Steven Henderson provided good fortitude in the defensive line. The proving ground will be the crucial test against Dysart Bulls this week.

Cowboys tries were scored by Aaron Firth and Kerryn Brice.
