IT IS not always easy to capture those candid childhood moments, but Kerri and Ben Russell certainly hit the mark with this photo of their one-year-old son Sean.

And it is exactly the type of photo Harvey Norman is looking for in the Best Baby and Toddler Moment competition.

Unlike baby competitions that search for the nation’s cutest babies, this one has a pleasant twist and is searching for those classic childhood moments.

Capella mum Kerri said she snapped this photo of Sean after he refused to go down for his afternoon nap.

After a short bout of screaming he finally fell asleep.

“I went in to check on him and he had fallen asleep with his arms and legs out of the cot and his face squashed up between the rails,” Kerri said with a laugh.

“It’s just a fabulous moment that we were fortunate to catch.”

The competition is open to kids from 0-3 years old at

Entries close at midnight tonight and the winner will be announced on May 8.
