MOUTH-WATERING food, graffitied interior, hot tunes … why wouldn’t you want to eat at Sabbaba’s latest restaurant in Newtown? Bang Gang DJ Jamie Doom and DJ Samir entertained everybody’s ears at the King Street grand opening last week as we sampled the finest Middle Eastern delicacies.

I’m talking about additive-free, authentic chickpea falafels served with pita bread, haloumi and cherry tomato skewers, hommus dips, spiced lean chicken, vine leaves and lamb kofta; dishes Sabbaba prides itself on. The highly-aesthetic graffiti adorned walls are courtesy of Sydney professional street artist/tattootist, Jeremy Hession (aka Mr Perso). I know who’s going to ink my next tattoo!
