Chris Trevor hopes to reclaim Flynn seat
QUEENSLAND Senator Mark Furner and Labor candidate for Flynn Chris Trevor inspected the Emerald Medicare facility, the redeveloped Rundle Park and the aquatic centre upgrades on Wednesday.
Former Member for Flynn Chris Trevor was the driving force behind these services being delivered which he said were the result of putting in the "hard yards".
"Because I relentlessly annoyed ministers to get the money and prepared fully quantifiable briefs to push the benefits for the community (these things came about). Same with the Blackwater pool," Mr Trevor said.
Mr Trevor vowed to reclaim the seat of Flynn from Ken O'Dowd in the September federal election.
"There are too many pressing problems to have a local member who's not prepared to... work for the constituents of his community," Mr Trevor said.
