Dan Hunt to put frustration behind him to play 150th game

HIS fellow forwards have been labelled "soft" during the Dragons' horror past two months.

But prop Dan Hunt will put the frustration behind him when he runs out for his 150th first-grade game against the Sharks in a local derby at WIN Stadium on Saturday night.

The Dapto Canaries junior made his debut in the opening round of the 2007 campaign and has since earned representative selection in the NSW Country Origin team (2011) and Prime Minister's XIII (2012).

"I'm proud to be reaching such a great personal milestone especially with my childhood team that I grew up supporting," Hunt said.

"The local derby is always an exciting match."

The Dragons have until noon today to decide whether the contest the grade one dangerous throw charge handed to hooker Mitch Rein in Monday night's 29-10 loss to the Rabbitohs. Rein will miss one game with an early guilty plea.

Manly yesterday named Origin players Daly Cherry-Evans (hip) and Anthony Watmough (neck) in the team to play the Bulldogs on Friday night after both missed Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Broncos in Brisbane.

The in-form Cowboys made just one change to the side that beat the Storm 22-0 last Saturday, adding Joel Riethmuller to their interchange bench as 18th man for Friday night's match against the Eels in Sydney .

And the Rabbitohs have named promising young winger Alex Johnston in their line-up for the clash against the Warriors at nib Stadium in Perth on Saturday night. Johnson missed Monday night's win over the Dragons with a quadriceps strain.

The Titans, who have dropped to 10th after losing four of their past five games, have regained Greg Bird, Nate Myles, Kevin Gordon, Albert Kelly and Brad Takairangi for Saturday evening's home game against the high-flying Panthers.
