D'arcy, Wright make butterfly semis

CONTROVERSIAL Australian swimmer Nick D'arcy and team-mate Chris Wright have qualified 12th and 14th respectively for the men's 200m butterfly semi-finals.

D'arcy finished in fifth position (1:56.25), one place ahead of Chris Wright (1:56.69) in their competitive heat.

Austrian Dinko Jukic won the heat ahead of Americans Tyler Clary and Michael Phelps.
