Hospital stabbing: Dalby woman arrested at bloody scene

A DALBY woman has been charged with attempted murder following an incident at a private health hospital in Brisbane.

Multiple ambulances and an undercover police car flew down Milton Rd to the scene after reports a man had been stabbed a number of times, about 6.10pm.

When police arrived they found a 38-year-old man with serious injuries to his neck and leg.

First aid was administered at the scene in Auchenflower, and the man has since undergone surgery and was recovering in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.

A 28-year-old Dalby woman was taken into custody at the scene, and was charged with one count of attempted murder.

The woman was also charged with one count each of common assault, unlawful wounding, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and going armed so as to cause fear.  

A spokesman for the Queensland Ambulance Service said seven ambulance units, including the High Acuity Response Unit, attended the incident
