DASHCAM: Police investigating Childers truck near miss
UPDATE 3.50pm: A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed the incident was on Goodwood Rd and said the matter had been reported to the police and was being investigated.
"The incident happened at 8.30am and it was reported the semitrailer was trying to overtake a sedan on double white lines," he said.
"Police are currently in the process of reviewing the footage. And we have the number plate of the company so it will all be followed up."
He said as technology advanced and dashcams became more available it helped police not only with traffic matters but was significant it other crimes.
"We are able to use footage from dashcams to help with things like homicide cases," he said.
