Three charged over alleged abduction, torture of man

POLICE have charged three men overnight following the alleged abduction of a man from a home in Bundaberg yesterday.

Police will be alleged around 8.20am a number of men attended a McMannie Street address where they confronted a 39-year-old man and assaulted him inside the residence.

It will further be alleged the man was forced into a vehicle before being driven to another location and further assaulted and tortured.

A 35-year-old Walkervale man has been charged with one count each of torture, grievous bodily harm and common assault and two counts of deprivation of liberty.

The man is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court this morning.

A 44-year-old Bundaberg West man has been charged with one count each of torture, deprivation of liberty and grievous bodily harm.

The man is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court this morning.

A 35-year-old Bundaberg West man has been charged with one count each of torture, deprivation of liberty and grievous bodily harm.

The man is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court this morning.
