Yme Tulleners' council campaign targeted by Facebook troll

YME Tulleners, independent candidate for Division 4, is warning residents not to believe everything they read on the internet.

Someone has set-up an unauthorised Facebook page and personal profile in his name and he is not happy about it.

"The author of these phoney accounts is misleading residents in the community and doesn't represent my views," Mr Tulleners said

The fake Facebook accounts were set-up recently using pictures found on the internet and have been used to make political comments in his name.

"I have contacted the Queensland Police, the Electoral Commission of Queensland and Facebook and I expect them to investigate this vigorously," he said.
