Emerald doctor’s new national role
EMERALD'S Dr Ewen McPhee has been appointed as the president of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia.
A previous state director of the National Rural Faculty (RACGP) and as chair of the Telehealth Governance Committee for Queensland Health and eHealth, Dr McPhee is a champion for the Rural Doctors Association of Australia and a passionate health advocate for rural and remote communities.
A fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), and consultant to the college on eHealth and Telemedicine, Dr McPhee has a strong and enduring interest in improving the health of rural and remote communities.
Dr McPhee's appointment as President of RDAA continues his long and dedicated service to rural and remote medicine and provides a very real opportunity to support the unfolding health needs of Australia's rural and remote communities.
